My First Tee Off...

Uncle Josh & Aunt Jenny you would be proud of Ella! :) We went to a new putt-putt golf course that opened up recently by us on Saturday night. Ella kept herself busy throwing golf balls from her stroller & Grandpa helped her hit a couple of them:). She loved to look around & watch the water. It was one of the prettiest courses I've seen. On a couple of holes the water actually helped you:) It was so much fun in spite of the thousands of mosquitoes:) Definitely a family activity to do again!!

The Stair Master.......

The last couple of weeks, Ella has conquered going up the stairs, not down yet:)! She always laughs when she gets to the top like she climbed the highest mountain & is proud of it:)!! She'll go from the bottom of the lowest stairs to the top of the highest without stopping!! Mommy gets a workout following her- which is a good thing:)!!

Look Mommy, I'm sharing!!!

Ella discovered our dog, Nilla, loves Cheerios so now she'll throw them overboard so he can have some too:)!!

One Happy Couple

Daniel & I got to go out to Chili's last night. I picked him up at work & he showed me all the new & exciting things going on there. I don't know why the background turned out yellow-must be my camera. It was so wonderful to be able to spend an evening out with him:)!!!!

Yes, I got my hair cut:)!

Please Help!!

We baked squash from our garden this week & decided to give Ella some & she really loved it!! This from a girl who would eat only half a jar of pureed baby food with coaxing:). I think she is ready for chunky real foods. :) I steamed carrots & broccoli yesterday & chopped them in tiny pieces & froze them in ice cube trays. Does anyone know of other veggies/ fruit that are good for this "stage"? She loves to pick up finger foods or anything she can really chew:) Also what are good/bad combos? Any info would be most helpful. Most of the recipes I'm finding on the Internet are for smooth pureed foods. Thanks:)
